Zhou Sicong (1939-1996) from Tianjin graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1963. Sie was a first level painter of figures and portraits, especially of minority women from China's southwestern highlands. She was a vice-chairman of the China Fine Artists Association and has been published and exhibited across China, in Japan, and in other parts of Asia
